Commission Policy

MarketNow charges a 20% commission on seller sales. This commission is paid to referral agents who help distribute skills.

Buyers never pay. All 67,593 indexed skills are free to install. Revenue comes exclusively from seller subscriptions + 20% commission on seller sales.

Payment Wallet Governance

Current wallet (Base network):

Type: Single-signature (migration to 2-of-3 multisig escrow pending)

Migration plan: This wallet will be replaced by a 2-of-3 multisig escrow contract. The migration timeline is Q4 2026. Until then, all transactions are logged publicly and auditable.

All payment transactions are logged in the public mandate log as git commits. Every transaction is auditable and traceable.

Refund Policy

Since buyers install all skills for free, there are no buyer refunds needed. For sellers who subscribe to Sentinel:

Pro-rated refund within 7 days of subscription start
No refund after 7 days, but subscription can be cancelled at any time
Commission on completed sales is non-refundable

Dispute Process

If a buyer has a dispute about a skill (malware, misrepresentation, broken):

Report via POST /api/report with skill_id and evidence
MarketNow investigates within 48 hours
If confirmed, skill is quarantined and seller's Sentinel subscription is reviewed
For USDC payment disputes: contact disputes@alicelabs.site with transaction hash
